The Julia Landon College Prep Experience is marked by the rigorous pursuit of excellence in academics and leadership development. The program is led by an outstanding faculty with a full commitment to the success of our students. Although a college preparatory curriculum is unusual in a middle school, we believe it is never too early for highly motivated students to start on the path to superior achievement.
At Julia Landon College Preparatory and Leadership Development School, our mission is to prepare students for college and eventual leadership in the global community.
All of our students enroll in advanced curricula in all core subject areas. In addition to focusing on the core academic subjects, students will be offered opportunities to develop leadership skills throughout their middle school years. Our goal is to instill college bound students with a deep commitment to public service and a full awareness of their individual leadership talents.
Our historic campus in San Marco with its complete $15 million renovation, advanced labs, state-of-art TV production studio and much more, is ideally suited for our purpose.
Enrichment opportunities at the school include Scholar Bowl, Leadership Club, National Junior Honor Society, Seventh-Grade Duke University Talent Identification (TIP), Preliminary SAT (PSAT) and a full athletic program.
Program continuity for students attending Julia Landon College Prep will include Darnell-Cookman School of the Medical Arts, Paxon School for Advanced Studies and Stanton College Preparatory.
